The Basic Spells classes teach minds how to reach through the fabric of reality and wrestle arcane forces into submission; how to reach for the heavens; and grasp what fools daren’t even contemplate is there. Calling it basic is a severe misconception. Your teacher makes sure that if some untutored newling sneezes, they don’t accidentally blow their brains out. That those fun loving pyromaniacs learn to respect the elements; all of them, and not just that singular incendiary one they crave. The only thing basic about this course is that it is the foundation for so much more. It is the first step of a longer journey, but nevertheless the most important.
